Joining them for 2 of their songs was Hanson with both bands performing Hanson’s 1997 hit MMMBop with an upgraded Busted spin on it. Hanson return the favour performing “Sleeping With The Light On”. If there needs to be a future collaboration, please get Busted and Hanson together!
One of the standout moments of the night was Charlie Simpson announcing to us all, “Is there an Ed here?”. Repeating the question over and over he then announces to the crowd “Please welcome Ed Sheeran!”. Ed joined them for one of Busted’s hits “Who’s David?” much to everyone’s delight. Ed even did a little thank you speech to them at the end of the song about how he was thankful to Busted for his own career and inspiration to pick up a guitar.
In addition to the classics, Busted also showcased tracks from their more recent albums, demonstrating their continued growth as musicians. The newer material seamlessly blended with the old, proving that the band has not lost its touch in evolving with the times.
